Sketches

So because this is a moving project our sketches for class are more like story boards…and I’ve never done a storyboard before so yeah.

This is what I came up with after googling some examples about storyboarding and then I compared it to what I found and noticed I’m still missing a lot, something especially important since I’m working with a song (“Manufactured Extinct” by Cattle Decapitation) and its lyrics,  which is timestamps. However by the time I realized this I had moved on to the second iteration of the storyboard.

I decided to match up the lyrics to a certain key image in my head of what I want the storyboard to be. My lack of artistic skill kind of puts me off to actually fleshing out the storyboard but I’ll just have to get over it.

The idea is to start with a video (or just a lot of still images) of a nice paced walk in a Fallout game (preferably Fallout 4) using the free camera and walking over a horizon. Along the way I’d pass some burning buildings or debris. Finally walking over a hill into the horizon, and have a flash/glare on the screen to open to my Hyper Realism images. From there it’s a lot of panning and zooming in and out on key parts of the image. and while all of this is occurring the lyrics to the song will be appearing on screen like a lyric video.
